The final text (the whole level in one paragraph)
Iaz euskara ikasten hasi nintzen. Hasieran dena zaila iruditzen zitzaidan: aditzak, kasuak, hitz luzeak… Egunero apur bat ikasi ohi nuen, autobusean nindoanean edo afaldu ondoren. Orain, urtebete geroago, gauza asko esan ditzaket: nire bizitza konta dezaket, planak egin ditzaket eta lagunei mezuak euskaraz bidaltzen dizkiet. Ez dakit noiz arte iritsiko naizen, baina gauza bat ziur dakit: datorren urtean B1 maila egingo dut. Eta zuk? Ea elkarrekin ikasten dugun!
Did you understand all of it? That, exactly, is what having an A2 level means.
The honest self-assessment
You can say you’ve mastered A2 if you can do this without looking:
✅ Talk about what you did last weekend (3 sentences in the past tense).
✅ Talk about what you’ll do next weekend (3 sentences in the future tense).
✅ Ask for something in a store and return it the next day.
✅ Leave a phone message: who you are, what you want, and ask for a call back.
✅ Tell your life story in six sentences (past → present → plans).
✅ Complain about the weather with some authority. ☔
Zorionak!
Hemen bukatzen da A2 maila. Bidaia ederra izan da: orain euskaraz bizi zaitezke — oinarrizko gauzetan, baina benetan. Hurrengo geltokia: B1. Han ikasiko duzu iritziak defendatzen, istorio luzeagoak kontatzen eta euskara zure-zurea egiten.
Eskerrik asko gurekin ikasteagatik — eta gogoratu: euskarak ez du etxerik galtzen. Aurrera! 💪
