Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Crintech Studios ("we", "us") handles information when you use Kaixo, whether on the website euskera.crintech.pro, the iOS app (App Store), or the Android app (Google Play) — hereinafter, "the Service".

2. Local Storage on Your Device

Your progress lives solely in your browser or app, using localStorage. This includes: completed lessons, correct exercises, unlocked achievements, selected language, Expedition Mode status, and a flag for visiting the "About" page.

This data never leaves your device. We do not send it to any server. If you switch devices, you can export your progress as a code that you paste into the new device to restore it—you decide when and where to share it.

As this type of storage is strictly necessary for the application to function, it does not require a consent banner under the European ePrivacy Directive or the AEPD guidelines.

Optional sync (off by default). In the app you can turn on, from Progress, a backup in your own cloud account (iCloud on iOS; Google's equivalent on Android when available), so you do not lose your progress when reinstalling. That copy goes to your account, not to a server of ours, and we cannot read it. If you turn it off, whatever was uploaded is deleted.

3. Hosting and Network Connections

The website and the app's static files are served from Cloudflare Pages. Like any web server, Cloudflare logs HTTP requests that may include IP address, date, and user agent, for the sole purpose of protecting the Service (abuse mitigation, CDN, aggregate traffic metrics). We do not have access to these logs individually and do not link them to any identity. You can review their policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

The iOS app is a lightweight container that loads the same website inside a system WebView; the Android app is an equivalent Trusted Web Activity (TWA) on top of Chrome. In no case is additional data sent for using the app instead of the website.

This data is used solely to manage the ticket and, if you have provided contact information, to reply to you. We do not share it with third parties, and you can request its deletion at any time by writing to the email below.

6. Minors

Kaixo is not specifically directed at persons under 13, nor does it collect data about them. We do not use age-gate systems precisely because we do not need any personal data.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

Since we do not store identifiable personal data in our systems, the classic rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability, and restriction are exercised in practice from the device itself: by clearing browser data or uninstalling the app. Even so, if you have any questions or believe any data concerns you, you can write to us.

8. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes (for example, if we add any additional services in the future), we will update the date at the top and, if the change is material, we will also announce it on the homepage and in the repository's release notes.
